Centered in Nature

Stephanie Speakman

A soft yet realistic showcase of the flora and fauna that surround us. Stephanie is from the Cape and works as an Instructional Assistant at Chatham Elementary.

“I try to capture the beauty around me whenever I can! The photos I’ve chosen for Centered in Nature are all scenes and wildlife I’ve found on my many hikes and boating adventures on Cape Cod. The beauty all around never ceases to amaze me!”

About the Gallery

Photography, On Display

The Gallery at Orleans Camera is dedicated to showcasing the work of photographers at every level — from emerging voices to seasoned professionals. We believe great photography deserves to be seen in person, not just on a screen.

We host several shows throughout the year and actively seek submissions from the Cape Cod community and beyond. If you make photographs and want to share them, we’d love to hear from you.

Film Only

About the Show

Calling all Kodak creatives, darkroom developers, and Fujifilm fanatics. “Film Only” meant exactly what it sounds like: every print in this show was made from a physical film negative, shot on a film camera.

First place went to Luke Foley for “Flight Path,” second to Warren Mumford for “Eyes,” and third to Nadine Krasnow for “Rockport.” Read our interview with Luke Foley for the story behind the winning shot.

DS Early Light

Don Gould

Cape Codder raised, and still living in East Harwich. Over 50 years ago his wife, Sally, encouraged him to put down his Polaroid SX70 and pick up an SLR. He never went back.

“I never alter my photos. I have never used nor do I know how to use Lightroom or any photo altering programs. If I can’t capture the shot as is, I feel that it was destined for me to just savor it through my eyes. It is one of my greatest pleasures to share my photography with my friends and family on a daily basis.”
