We are very happy to announce our much anticipated class on Adobe
Lightroom 2.0. It will be held on July 22, 2009 in our Orleans
location.
We are equally thrilled that our instructor for this session will be
Linda Lowell. Linda is an accomplished photographer and educator
who splits her time between Maine and Santa Barbara, California
where she is Department Chair of Photography at Santa Barbara City
College. She has developed and written curriculum for Brooks
Institute of Photography, Academy of Art University and Santa Barbara
City College. A M.Photog. Master of Photography and
Cr.Photog Photographic Craftsman ( Professional Photographers of America
) with her Masters Degree in Photography ( with Highest Honors) she has
lectured extensively on Commercial Photography and Creativity.

Ian Mack will help you find that comfort level with your Canon digital
SLR you have been looking for as well as the computer related aspect of
today's digital photography.
Primarily focusing on the Digital Rebel X series ( as well as the New
T1i) and the D series of Canon digital SLR's. You will
learn advanced camera features and settings, navigating the menus, the
what and how of ISO, different auto focus modes, manual focus and
exposure compensation, creative flash modes, what is it and how to read
a Histogram.
Next, Ian will cover photo situations such as macro, scenic, sports and
action and low light photography.
Finally he'll cover the importance of backing up your photos and how to
share and print your photos over the Internet.

Not sure where to begin with your digital camera? This class will cover
what you need to get started. Focus will be on digital point and shoot cameras
covering basic camera operation, digital photo concepts like using
flash and composition, recommended accessories to enhance your picture
taking, and how to get your images into the computer.
Primarily focusing on,
· Basic camera operation of your digital point & shoot camera
· Fundamental photography tips
· Downloading pictures to your computer (Mac/Windows)
· Basic picture storage, organization and backup. For example CD
burning and external hard drives for back up.
